Welcome! A. Brown & Sons Nursery is a large grower of healthy, quality shade & ornamental trees, evergreens, shrubs and select perennials with more than 50 years growing experience. We supply a wide variety and great quantity of Wholesale Nursery Stock to landscapers and re-wholesalers across the country!
The Brown family started out in the produce business in the early 1940’s, having grown and sold fruits and vegetables for over 65 years from their home and from market stands throughout Miami Valley area. Beginning in 1959 the family business branched out into making a go of the 22-acre nursery they had purchased. Since then the nursery has grown to over 1000 acres in and near the Northwest corner of Montgomery County.
A. Brown & Sons is primarily a Wholesale Nursery. We take pride in providing our Quality Nursery Stock to local landscapers and landscapers in many neighboring states.
In addition, our Garden Center for Retail Sales is open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from the first of March through Christmas each year. We offer Landscape Design Planning as well as Commercial and Residential Landscaping Services.
A. Brown & Sons Nursery is a family owned and operated business located just outside Phillipsburg, Ohio. Anthony (Tony) and Helen Brown along with their six children John, Harry, Barbara, Ken, Vernon and Mike founded A. Brown & Sons Nursery in 1959. Anthony had emigrated from Germany to the U.S. in 1929 and Helen was the daughter of German immigrants. The third generation of Browns is now coming on strong: Dean, Corey, Kenda, Karee, David, Robyn, Kimberly and Ashley - with the fourth generation not far behind.
The Brown Family is a busy bunch, but happy that our work
